How do i know if i'm on the list?
We will notify you by postal mail with a formal invitation about a month prior to the event. If for some reason you decide that you can not attend, please notify Midway Christian Fellowship so that we can invite a guest from our waiting list. You will receive either a formal invitation or a waitlist letter. If no correspondence is sent to you, this means we never received your registration. Please use the address listed on the registration. Do not send registrations to Midway Christian Fellowship.
How should i be dressed to attend the event?
This is a formal event and as such we would encourage you to dress in your "Sunday Best". Dress pants and a nice shirt/tie for gentlemen and a dress for ladies. If you have access to more formal attire, please feel free to wear it!
Will there be food? What about allergies?
We will be providing refreshments for all our guests. This entire event will be nut free. We ask that you please respect everyone's individual needs and do not bring nuts with you to this event or eat them prior to the event.
What about photography?
To keep this event safe for everyone only those listed on the guest list will be allowed inside. Please plan to take photos at home prior to the event. We will have photographers throughout the event taking photos and will be making them available in the days following the dance.
What about my coat and my belongings?
We will be offering a coat check in a secure location for all of our honored guests. If at anytime throughout the evening you need access to your belongings or your coat we will have one of our volunteers assist you.
What if I'm attending with the honored guest?
Registrations are ONLY for honored guests. If you are accompanying them, please add your name to the "Accompanied By" section of the registration form. *limit of 1 per Honored Guest* Please don't fill out a separate form, this takes another spot away from the Honored Guests.
How many people can attend this event?
We do our very best to get everyone into this event however we do have a limit of 150. Registrations are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Once our capacity is reached, your name will be added to our waiting list and a letter will be sent to you via the mail.
I recieved a waitlist letter, now what?
We have limited space which means unfortunately, after we've reached our capacity or our deadline, which ever comes first we will have to wait list potential guests. We wait list based on the date the registration was received. We will notify the next person in line if a space opens up.
Will masks be required?
Anyone that wishes to wear a mask is more than welcome to!
